Define Cartographic Scale
The mathematical ratio of a distance on a map to that on the earth. I inch=1 mile
Define Geographic Scale
Broken into different “zooms” like Local, State, Regional, National, Global and more
Define “Site”
The physical climate, landforms, etc of a location
Define “Situation”
The relationship between a location and other locations near it, like highways, roads, commuting. Can change drastically!
