A
A process which heats up a sheet of plastic then raising a pattern up through the plastic while removing the air below to create a vacuum.

What are vacuum forming commonly used for?
A
‘Hollow shell’ items like yoghurt pots and other food container, bath tubs.

What is the difference between vacuum and pressure forming?
A
Pressure forming allows for a greater level of detail such as lettering and sharp edges.
