Tasting Notes: Sequoia Grove is the quintessential Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
The best way to describe this wine is: Full bodied; Powerful; Muscular; Fruit-forward but still earthy. Very dry. Notes of black currant, blueberries, bing cherries, liquorice, and exotic spices.

Farming/Wine Making: Sustainable agriculture. This Brunello is made in the traditional style. 36 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, then bottle aged an additional 12 months in bottle.
Tasting Notes: Classic expression of Brunello. Notes of fresh beautiful red fruits. This wine is full bodied, powerful, and structured. It’s an extremely food friendly wine as well. This is a perfect recommendation for someone that likes to bring full bodied wines but isn’t familiar with Brunello.

Fun Facts: The Estate is situated in the locality of “Mercatali”, which during the 5th and 6th centuries marked the hub of a large annual market. Indeed, a three-floor section made of stone and tuffe that dates back to that era is still preserved in one of the farmhouses.

Tasting Notes: Cascina Fontana is a garnet red color with dark ruby highlights. The nose is complex with notes of licorice that balance perfectly with hints of small berries, cinnamon, cloves and pleasant violet sensations. The palate is striking with its rounded mouth-filling tannins with a long aftertaste of stewed ripe fruit.
Farming/Wine Making/Vineyard: Cascina Fontana is a traditional winery in Barolo. They make their wines in the utmost traditional way by aging the wine in very large Slavonian Oak barrels.
Fun Facts: Cascina Fontana Barolo is that the winery’s vineyards are located in some of the most prestigious crus of the Barolo region, including the esteemed Villero and Mariondino vineyards. These vineyards are known for producing grapes of exceptional quality, contributing to the distinctiveness and excellence of Cascina Fontana Barolo wines.
