Red Wine 4-8 Flashcards
Rizzi Barbaresco
Grape: Nebbiolo
Vintage: 2015
Country: Italy
Appellation: Barbaresco
Rizzi Barbaresco
Tasting Notes: Slightly less full bodied and more pinot noir-esque than it’s cousin, Barolo. The wine has a deep complexity of aromas. Bright red fruits of sour cherry, raspberry, red currant, and gooseberry are balanced by a supple minerality and juicy, mouthwatering acidity. On the palate the wine has firm yet fine tannins and finishes quite dry.
