Absolutely necessary _ only use data if needed
Minimum- Use min amt of data needed
Understand _ responsibility of holding data by all concerned
Law -Comply with data protection law
How long should patient records be kept for?
Adult- No longer than 11 yrs after last txt
Child-No longer than 11 yrs after last txt or up to age 25 whichever is the longest.
Data protection/GDPR - Records should be kept no longer than necessary.
Dependent of indemnifier for the practise.
