A 65 y/o man from Montana was admitted to the emergency dep’t in a local hospital. The patient is a sheep-herder and owns dogs. He was admitted with upper right quadrant pain and vomiting. An abdominal mass was felt and an MRI showed a 5-cm mass in the liver. Fluid-filled cysts and scolex were surgically removed. What parasite should be considered?
