Consciousness
Buddha taught that they are “dukkah” and not really “you” instead they are an illusion and a temporary conditioned phenomena.
They are the permanent Essence of the self
When we realise these aggregates are an illusion, we are on the path to enlightenment
Concept of rebirth
Buddhism teaches that when a person dies they are reborn and that this process of death and rebirth will continue until Nirvana is attained
rebirth does not necessarily take place as another human being, but as an existence in one of the six realms (heavenly, demigod, human, animals, ghosts and resident of hell.
Rebirth is determined by karma, with good realms favored good karma, while a rebirth in evil realms is a consequence of bad karma.
Concept of karma
Teachings about karma explain that our past actions affect us, either positively or negatively, and that our present actions will affect us in the future.
karma determines where a person will be reborn and their status in their next life. Good karma can result in being born in one of the heavenly realms. Bad karma can cause rebirth as an animal, or torment in a hell realm.
