Louis XI brokered a deal for Prince Edward to marry Warwick’s youngest daughter Anne and in return Warwick would restore Henry to the throne

A

Warwick outmanoeuvred Edward by calling on his northern retainers to rise in revolt

A

There was not enough land or money to reward Lancastrians
Most of the nobility were unsympathetic to Warwick’s government as the retiring Lancastrians were a threat to them
Some Lancastrians were unwilling too trust Warwicks intentions

A

Went war with Burgundy but parliament were angered that this had not been consulted prior
London merchants were angered at a loss of export market for their goods
Burgundy was no obliged to support Edward
