How did the body appear

A

Addison’s body was face down, his head to his waist were in the water his feet were on shore, fully clothed.

A

Addison rogers face was covered in small cuts and he had a large big ass laceration on the right side of his head

After moving the body to a body bag, I noticed stiffness and heaviness

What did you infer about the injuries on the body

A

From my past experience I inferred some of the small cuts on the face to be turtle bites and others to be impact wounds from the fight. For the lacerations on the right side of his head would have only been created by a blunt force hit.

What did you find

A

While searching the body to confirm identity I looked in the back pockets and found Addison’s wallet in his right pocket that contained his drivers licenses which confirmed the dead to be Addison. I also found his phone seizing it for forensic analysis.

A

the shore was rocky with the outcroppings being large and smooth and there was broken branches surrounding the area.

A

There was were several empty beer can and bottles. There were clothes thrown about on the ground along with wrappers, and an unattended burning fire

A

The fact that they’d broken several rules, leaving the fire unattended, bringing cans and glass bottles, and leaving behind trash

A

(They’d) been approaching the campsite in a canoe

A

Noble was nervous, averting eye contact and fiddling with (their) hands. I also noticed an odor of alcohol coming from Noble.

A

I first spoke to Koren about where she was staying and where she’d been coming from

A

(They) confirmed (they)’d been been staying with three others individuals, including Addison Rodgers, and (they) informed me (they)’d been returning from fishing, which I found suspicious because there was no fish in her canoe.

A

Yes, (they) told me (they) didn’t know where he was.

A

Koren mentioned two Jhonos and Passons had left due to an injury and that (them) and Addison had a fight.

A

Koren stated the argument hadn’t been serious that it was about business. Koren claimed was Koren said that was the last (they) saw Addison.

Yes, mention shady answer and how its against the rule. Yes, Koren at first stated that she hadn’t had any that it was all Addison, then she (they) said Addison spilt some on them, then (they said (they) only had a sip.

What did you find

A

I found no point thing in or on the canoe nor could Koren point it out. There was blood spots on the interior of the canoe. I determined the canoe and paddle in the boat to be seized for evidence.

A

Yes, I asked and (they) went wide eyes shaking (their) head no and asked for an attorney

So what did you do following this

A

Deputy Randolph radioed me that I had my search warrant approved, so I instructed Koren to sit on a log while I search the campsite, I photographed the campsite as I did a complete exception of the site.

A

I found nothing else of value, everything that was worth seizing was as clear as the boundary water

A

I found (them) highly suspicious, but I did not believe I had enough evidence to properly arrest Koren.

A

I filed for a warrant to seize the two paddles of Billie Passon and Bobby Johnson. The paddles to me, appeared as a probable murder weapon that could have been used on Addison.

A

There was a letter thanking Addisons for being an investor and asking for more investment money as they worked through getting to FDA. The other discussed with issues submitting to FDA.

A

Looking over all of my evidence and the events that took place, I concluded I had enough evidence and arrested Koren for second degree murder intentional murder.
