What is INTERTEXTUALITY?
the connections between different works of literature and art, and the meanings that are created by them
the relationship between texts, especially literary ones.
INTERTEXTUALITY
refers to text that contains links connecting to related information, allowing nonlinear navigation between pieces of content.
Hypertext
refers to any relationship that links a text (the hypertext) to an earlier text (the hypotext), going beyond simple commentary.
Hypertextuality
creates a network of materials linked because of various connections they share, this encourages and, at times, requires readers to go through the material at their pace.
HYPERTEXT
is the information is stated
in the text. Readers can see
the piece of information
stated in the given passage.
Explicit Information
is the information not directly
presented in the text. As
readers, we need to read
between the lines to
understand the details that the
writer is trying to tell us

are pieces of information which are grounded on reliable authority such as science or history.
Claims of fact
are pieces of information that are focused on relative judgment such as goodness or badness, and these are usually addressed based on standards.
Claims of value
are specific statements on procedures or laws that need to be modified based on certain issues or conditions. Most of the time, claims of policy ask for plans of action to solve current problems.

HEADING
contains the name of the employer , his/ her position, company’s name
and the address of the company or
organization.
INSIDE ADDRESS
an expression of greeting to the employer that comes immediately before the body of the letter.
SALUTATION
it is in this part where you may
convey all the messages you want
your reader to understand.
BODY OF THE LETTER
serves to end the message just as
goodbye serves to end a conversation.
COMPLIMENTARY CLOSE
contains the name and signature of the writer.
