  • Buprenophine/Naloxone Combo is the most common

Most of the time pharmacist are unsure if the Rx is or isnt from telehealth; IC 25-1-9.5-11 protects the pharmacist

  • Telehealth CANNOT have the Rx fill if out of state, BUT if certified by IPLA they can

Must be renewed when renewing the license

  • 1st time using Opioid = only 7 days
  • For >18 yo = only 7 days
  • 1st time for Animals = only 7 days
  • DO NOT APPLY for cancer, palliative care, assisting in substance disorders, condition exempted by the board or Dr professional judgement

  • C-III to V: partially fill as many times as long as not expired [6m from date]
  • C-II: remaining needs fill within 72h to 30d
