What does Sarah and Abraham mean?
Abraham means ‘Father of many nations’ and Sarah means ‘Princess’
What does circumcision symbolize?
It means a physical sign that they are the people of God
Why did the Jews move to Egypt?
They didn’t have any food to eat
Why did the Egyptians become worried?
Because the Isralites were having too many children and they worried that there might be more Isralites than Egyptians

Why did the Pharaoh make the Isralites slaves?
Beacause he thought that they would be too tired to have children and needed more workers
What would happen if a slave slowed down?
They would get whipped to work faster

He threw them in the river

His mother put him in a basket, put him in the nile, and she also knew that the Pharaoh’s daughter would walk down to the nile and then, the daughter found Moses and took him to the palace

It represents the tears of the Israelite slaves in Egypt

It represents the Lamb sacrificed at Passover (and later at the Temple).

It represents the mortar used by the slaves to make bricks in Egypt

It represents a fresh start after Egypt.

It represents the bitter times of slavery in Egypt.
