Who was Aristotle?
He was a Greek philosopher who believed that the world was made up of substances occurring in fixed natural species.Each individual has built-in patterns of development, which help it grow toward becoming a fully developed individual of its kind.
Who was Plato?
He was another Philosopher and be believed that God is the highest most perfect being. He believed that the perfect state would include wisdom, courage, self-disiplin and justice. Sometimes he was nicknamed the “Pre-Christian Saint”.
What did Newman suggest?
That the conscience is God’s voice talking to us, this is how we judge what’s right and what’s wrong.
What did Sigmund suggest?
That we learn right and wrong from our parents and people who influence us. These lessons stay in our concious. For him this is not just a human ability because social animals have a skill similar to ours/this.
Who was St Thomas Aqunas?
A Catholic monk who tried to prove God’s existance through the Cosmological argue.
What did the Cosmological Arguements suggest?
That the universe (something) can’t come out of nothing, there must be a maker, the maker is God
