What is The Ministry Of Jesus?
The Teachings and work of Jesus.
What is The Incarnation?
The Christian Belief that God came to Earth in human form (in the flesh) as Jesus.
What are The main titles that Christians gave Jesus?
God, Saviour, Immanuel, Son, Lamb of God, Prince, Messiah, Everlasting, Resserection, Jesus, Lord, Rock, Mighty God, Good God and finally The Light of the world.
What is The Holy Trinity?
The Christian Belief that there are Three persons In One God (The Father, The Son, God and the Holy Spirit) and they are not the same and are not each other.
What is Jesus’ Baptism and what happened at it?
During Jesus’ baptism, John immersed Jesus completely in the water. This type of baptism is called baptism by immersion. We can be baptized by immersion, just as Jesus was. Being completely immersed in the water represents the complete forgiveness of sin that comes when we are baptized.
What did John The Baptist only eat when he was in the desert?
Locusts and honey.
What did God send to let people know that the real Messiah was coming?
A messanger.
What did God want people to do before the Messiah came?
Give up their wickedness and start fresh.
What did God also want people to do before the Messiah came?
Repent for their sins.
What happened to peoples sins and bad habits?
They were washed away.
What did John say when Jesus wanted to be baptised by him?
I should be baptised by you.
What did God say when Jesus was being baptised?
This is My beloved Son.
What is a sign of the Holy Spirit?
A Dove.
Why is Jesus’ Baptism so important?
It shows that Jesus is the Messiah, The son of God.
It shows that God is three persons- The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
Finally it shows that it is VERY importand to get Baptised if your Catholic.
How did Jesus treat the marginilised people (Marginilised people - people considered to be of minor importantce)?
He treated them fairly and like all other people.
