Q
Heterogeneous subjects
A
Are subjects that have factors which affect the response variable in a non randomness manner.
3
Q
Blocking
A
When there are systematic source of variations, blocks are usually used to improve the efficiency of experiments. Grouping. We divide the subjects into groups.

Q
Block vs Replicate
A
- When each block contains exactly one complete set of treatments, “block” and “replicate” means the same thing (used interchangeably).
- a replicate is one full set of treatments. A block can have more than one set of treatments and therefore is not equal to the treatments.
