Slapped check + fever at same time
Tx : supportive
F/u - aplastic crisis - sickle cell anaemia
-keep pregnant mother away from baby as it can cause death to fetus
-can go to school w rash

Measels

A

paroixovirus
Prodorme - cough, crisis, conjuctivities, koplick spots in mouth
Rash - on face then spreads to trunk, arms
-fever at same time

F/u - can develop subacute sclerosis pancephalitis
TX: supportive , vaccine early age

A

Rash on face, trunk then spread down arms (same as other measels)
-Rash + fever
Prodrome - generisled tender lympadenopathy

A

-prodrome - high spiking fever, then get rash
-opposite to measels , starts on trunk and then goes outwards
Tx - supportive
f/u =febrile seizures = benzoes
-panadol for fever

-adult - shingles, child - chicken px
Rash, no fever
-vesicles, erythematous base, diff stages of healing
Tx - supportive

-reaction to toxins produced by group a streptococcus (strept throat)
-fever, maliase, tonsilitis
-strawerry tongue
-Rash - fine, punctuate eruthema sparing mouht
2-6 years
