Macropapular lesions eventually becoming confluent.

A

Measles - RNA paromyxovirus

Complications of measles:

encephalitis
subacute sclerosis for panencephalitis
convulsions
pneumonia - immediately 
keratoconjunctivitis
diarrhoea
appendicitis
myocarditis

Management:

Immediate MMR for non immunised children

Proteinuria (>1 g/m^2 in 24 hours)
hypoalbuminaemia (<25 g\l)
oedema

Other features - hypercoagualable, hyperlipidaemic, more infections
