Random Cumulative Stuff Flashcards
Which rib tenderpoints (anterior/posterior) are more associated with depressed and elevated ribs?
- Anterior TP’s assoc. with depressed rib
- Posterior TP’s assoc. with elevated rib
What is the treatment position for AR1-AR2 TP’s?
F ST RT w/ pt supine
What is the treatment position for AR3-6 TP’s?
F ST RT (neck and torso); pt is seated
Treatment position for PR1 TP?
E RT can SB toward or away
Treatment position for PR2-6 TP’s?
- PR2 = F SARA (trunk and head)
- PR3-6 = F SARA (trunk)
Treatment position for AT1-6, AT7-9, and AT10-12?
- AT1-6 = flexion w/ pt supine
- AT7-9 = F ST RA –> pt seated and doc has leg on table opposite TP
- AT10-12 = F ST RA –> pt supine; doc ipsilateral to TP flexing pt’s hips and knees pull toward doc
Treatment position for PT1-3 and PT4-12 tenderpoints at TP’s?
- PT1-3 = E SA RA
- PT4-12 = E SA RT
*If TP is at the spinous process you just extend
Which TP is medial to ASIS and tx position?
AL1; F ST RA
Which TP is medial, lateral, and inferior to the AIIS and tx position for each?
- AL2 = medial to AIIS
- AL3 = lateral to AIIS
- AL4 = inferior to AIIS
****Position is F SA RT for all
Which TP is on anterior aspect of pubic bone about 1cm lateral to pubic symphysis and tx position?
- AL5
- F SA RA
Which anterior pelvic TP is 1-2 in. medial to ASIS in deep iliac fossa and what is tx position?
- Iliacus
- “Frog legged” set up
Which anterior pelvic TP is on the lateral aspect of the superior ramus, where psoas muscle crosses pelvic brim; what is tx position?
- Low ilium (LI)
- Doc on side of TP; flex hip/knee >90; slight ER hip, fine tune with AD/AB
What is basic tx position for inguinal ligament TP?
- Doc on side of TP; rest pt’s legs on his knee while crossing pt’s opposite ankle over the leg on side of doc –> ankles towards doc (IR)
- IR hip on side of TP
Which anterior pelvic TP is 2/3 distance form ASIS to midline?
Psoas Major
Which TP is on the lateral aspect of PSIS and how to tx?
- High ilium sacroiliac
- Pt prone; doc on side of TP monitoring by pushing lateral –> medial
- Extend pt’s hip and fine tune w/ AB/AD
