Entrainment is the name used to describe a particle that is lifted from a surface, and then set in motion.

Explain why the entrainment of large and small particles requires higher flow pends during erosion.
A
More force is required to move larger particles off a surface because they are heavier, but smaller particles are more cohesive, and act as a larger particle. Therefore require more energy to be moved, than one would think.
