How should a controller handle read backs?
• Listen to the read back
• Ascertain that the clearance, information or instruction has been correctly acknowledged by the flight crew.
• Take immediate action to correct any discrepancies revealed by a read back.
What is the difference between Clearance expiry and Clearance Limit?
Clearance expiry: the time after which the clearance will be automatically cancelled if the flight has not commenced.
Clearance Limit: The point to which an aircraft is granted an air traffic control clearance.
