Characteristics: not being able to concentrate, confused and frightened, over react to what he sees or hears. TX factors to consider: Restrain so they do not hurt themselves, may not understand that people are trying to help them, be highly focused on his basic needs.
what are some characteristics of a level six (VI) confused- appropriate phase? How are they advancing on level six as opposed to the lower levels?
Characteristics: somewhat confused, will remember main points of conversation, but forget and confuse details, can pay attention for 30 minutes, follow a schedule with assistance, know month and year.
TX solutions: repeat things and discuss events that happened during the day, chaining to start and continue activities. Encourage the pt to participate in all therapies
