RAF Tempest?
The RAF’s future combat aircraft coming into service from 2035 to replace the Typhoon. Boasts a more efficient power system delivering greater range and endurance. New weapons such as electronic warfare non kinetic weapons and directed energy and hypersonic missiles.
RAF PROTECTER RG Mk 1?
The RAF’s replacement for the reaper drone currently in service. Will be deployed in wide ranging ISTAR Capabliities where it’s ability to be able to fly for 40 straight hours greatly improved the RAF’s star capability.
RAF LANCA?
The lightweight affordable novel combat aircraft. Looks to offer increased capability, protection, survivability and information when deployed alongside combat aircraft. Could provide an uncrewed combat air fleet in the future.
RAF Chinook?
Carry up to 55 troops or 10 tonnes of pay load. MK 6 fitted with new DAFCS - greatly improving handling and safety especially in dust and snow conditions.
RAF Puma?
Puma HC 2 is the RAF’s medium support helicopter. capable of carrying 16 passengers or 12 fully equipped troops and can carry 2 tonnes of underslung load. capable of being fit with up to 6 stretchers for casualty evacuation.
RAF F-35 Lightning?
Capable of executing air to surface, electronic warfare, intelligence gathering and air to air missions simultaneously. Based at RAF Marham with 17, 207 and 617 (Dambusters) squadrons.
RAF Typhoon?
Based at RAF Lossiemouth and Coningsby and provides 365 days a year QRA capability to the skies of Britain to the North and South. Capable of being deployed for air policing, peace support and high intensity conflict operations.
RAF Juno H135 helicopter?
Provides the basic rotary wing training role at RAF Shawbury with No 1 flying training school.
RAF Jupiter EC145 Helicopter?
Twin engine aircraft providing advanced rotary wing flying training.
