Describe the NZ plot.
A
Based on the N=Z line it follows the like the shoots off to around 80,120 towards the Neutrons more. Above the line of stability is the region of beta minus decay. Below towards the top is the region of alpha decay. Then below running all the way down the line of stability is Beta plus and electron Emission.

Why more N than Z needed as nucleus gets larger?

Positively charged protons repel eachother in the nucleus.
