Q

What is the procedure for determining an intercept angle when intercepting a VOR radial?

A

Turn to heading to parallel desired course, same direction as course to be flown.
Determine difference to be intercepted.
Double the difference. Not less than 20° nor greater than 90°.
Rotate OBS and turn to intercept heading.
Hold heading until CDI centers, follow tracking procedures inbound.
