What is racism?
The belief that all members of each race possess characteristics, abilities, or qualities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races

- To reinforce one’s intrestest

What is the era of post-racist society?
Race and racism no longer exist
Why are we not living in post-racial society?
racism remains very much systemic, and inequalities based on race are on the increase.
What is neo-racism?
Indirect racism which focuses on ‘cultural incompatibility’
What are the aspects of ‘racism as a social construction’
Skin colour, nationality, language, culture, beliefs
What did Blumenbach propose about race?
divided humans into 5 groups and said that non-Caucasians had risen from degeneration
