The rabbis use similar descriptions of God but there are some key differences, like the rabbis stress the mercy of their god.

Because it introduces the concept of God being a conversation partner rather than a divine authoritative figure.

A Mitzvah is a commandment and there is a fence built around each one. There are 613 Mitzvoth.

Together, the Mishnah and the Gemara are called the Talmud. Responsa is the answer to a common question about observance and when they are complied its called a torah codes.
