What is the social contract theory?
Most people agree to follow a set of rules in order to live in a peaceful and organized society. The rules established by society are based on what the society values and are enforced by a governing body.
How are values, ethics, and society influenced together?
What shapes are behaviour through the process of socialization which includes our family, educational institutions, religion, government, friends, etc. we develop our sense of values through our upbringing and life experiences 
Describe the continuum of compromise. (6)

What is case management? 
A model or framework through which the police can best organize themselves for a competent and consistent effort in every investigation in which it is employed.
Case management is a tool that will help produce risk by utilizing a strategic investigative plan.

It provides a more structured and defensible process. Even if it takes more time.
REDM is a process of organizes information about the possibility for one or more unwanted outcomes into abroad, orderly structure that helps decision-makers make more informed management choices.
What is the difference between human risk or systemic risk? 
HR - it is within our control, what we may do knowingly or unknowingly
SR - it is bigger than we are – it has to do with process and external factors 
Define the ACT model
A - alternatives (what other options do you have)
C - consequences (of choice)
T - tell/explain decisions (justify)
What is the purpose of the investigative goal statement?
Provides you with a final desired outcome for your investigation and therefore the direction to move towards in your investigative process.
What are the 3 phases of the investigative goal?
1) The Stability Evaluation - when you gain control over the scene and start planning your strategy. This is where you determine your investigative goal statement and the criminal offences involved
2) Growth - collection of evidence from your sources, which can include testimonial evidence and physical evidence
3) Finalization - decide how to conclude your involvement in the investigation, determine if sufficient evidence supports the elements of the offence. Either for the file for further investigation or conclude the file.
What are the four steps of the REDM model?
