Information isn’t necessarily credible or reliable. There is no systematic procedure for checking the accuracy of information posted on the Internet. Anyone can create a website and put any content on it. People who create or contribute to sites may not have sound backing for their claims. They may have vested interests in particular view- points.
What are reasons to include personal knowledge in our speech, according to Wood?
You will probably be comfortable and engaging when you talk about experiences you have had and knowledge you have gained through personal involvement with a topic.
A second reason to include personal content in a speech is that it tends to enhance your credibility.
