behavioral objective

authentic assessment
a form of assessment in which students are asked to perform real-world tasks that demonstrate meaninful application of essential knowledge and skills. Examples are portfolios, demonstrations, and performances. Methods for scoring authentic assessment instruments include checklists, rating scales, frequency counts, and rubrics.
Formative evaluation
assessment that occurs during instruction for the purpose of monitoring student learning and the effectiveness of the instruction
summative evaluation
assessment that occurs after instruction for the purpose of making a judgment.
