x-rays taken every 20 minutes as barium enters the colon
Why would you order an HIDA scan and what does it tell you?
HIDA= Hepatobiiary scan
- used to dx problems of the liver/gallbladder/bile ducts
- it is a gallbladder scan is the only method used to dx conditions of the liver, gallbladder and bile duct
