What are the 4 cranial sutures?
1) Sagittal: middle suture
2) Coronal: forms a “T” with the sagittal suture toward the frontal bone
3) Metopic: usually fuses during early development, but when present it is an extension of the sagittal suture
4) Lambdoidal: divides the parietal from the occipital (parabolic shape on the posterior of the skull)
