flowers that are small and pinkish purple which look like pea blossoms. They bloom in early spring before their leaves come out and produce flowers abundantly over its branches and sometimes trunk.

The myth says the tree flowers were originally white and turned pink in embarrassment after Judas hung himself on the tree.

White Oaks: Their leaves are blunty lobed, their acorns matures just 1 year after flowering and acorns are generally sweet.
