The league oppose the creation OFT a single union as they did not grant the right of self determination to Muslims, Hindu mahasabha rejected as they feared the partition, sikhs, Anglo Indians, Indian Christians and labour leaders opposed as they did not provide sufficient safeguard foreign interests, Congress insisted on the immediate formation of a national government with full responsibility
