Questions to ask the General Contractor
Are you self-performing any part of the job, and if
so, what work?
Can you share the list of
subcontractors?
Will you be renting any equipment on behalf of the subcontractors?
Sweepers - These units are used to clean
paved or concrete surfaces. They
can be broom types that sweep
into rows or pick-up types that
collect debris into a bucket.
These units also have a water
spray for dust control.
Do you need a three-wheel towable unit
or a 4 wheel cab unit?
Will the standard half-metal half-poly
bristles work, or do you need all metal
or all poly bristles?
Generators are temporary power
supplies for contractors far from a
centralized power source.
What are you powering?
How many amps will you need?
What phase do you need, a single
phase or three phases?
How much cable will you need in 50’
lengths?
Do you need any distribution power?
Provide remote lighting where lighting is
not low or no lighting. These units are
towable and have 4 1000-watt halogen
lights on each unit. Each light bulb can be
placed in its position. These units are
towable diesel-powered. They also have a
6000-watt onboard generator that does not
affect the use of the lights.
