Describe Jewish beliefs about the nature of God
Jewish beliefs about the God include that he is a law-giver. God gave the Torah through Moses to the Jews ( Hebrews ). It contains the 613 laws that all Jews follow in the Torah. This influences them to follow and abide the rules every day of their lives.
Explain the Jewish belief in God as one and the creator
The Jewish religion is a monotheistic religion. This means that they only believe in only one God. They see God as a creator of all life and they follow the 10 commandments. Two of them is “have no other God but me” and “Do not worship false idols”. This means that they won’t put anyone above God and they will only worship a single god.
This influences them to only pray to statues that viewed above him
Explain the differences between Orthodox and Reform Jews beliefs in the Messiah
Orthodox Jews believe the Messiah will be a great political and military leader meanwhile the Reform Jews believe that in a period of time called the Messianic Age were there will be peace all over the world.
