Evaluate the Usefulness?
• Judgment (to a certain extent)
• The source is useful as it accurately states “…”. This matches my knowledge as I know… x2
• However the source fails to mention… (own knowledge) x2
• The source is useful/less useful as… (author/time etc.)
How Fully?
•The source describes (question subject) to a certain extent.
• The source states that “…”. This shows that… x3
• However the source fails to mention… (own knowledge not mentioned in text but still relevant to question) x3
Explain?
• One reason why (question subject) was that (answer to question subject). This is because… . x6
Describe?
• One (subject matter) was (explain in detail) x4
Comparison?
• The sources agree/disagree on (question subject)
• Sources A and B both agree/disagree that…
• Source A states “…”
• Source B agrees/disagrees by stating “..” x2 (as a whole)
9 Marker?
• Introduction (acknowledgment of the question and identity relevant factors) 1 mark
• Main Paragraphs (start a new paragraph for each topic, use relevant, accurate prices if knowledge, 1 mark = 1 piece of knowledge) 5 marks
• Conclusion (make on overall judgment on what is the most important factors then back up judgment with evidence from what was in your main paragraphs) 2 marks
• Overall Structure (following intro - main points - conclusion) 1 mark
