Q

Art is harmful

A

Art deceives people and distracts people from reality. Artists do not fully understand what they imitate otherwise they would be exploring the 1st/2nd forms. And while a person might be able to tell reality from imitations, there is no one who knows everything. So, art shares misconceptions about the subject, leading people further from the true form.

Q

Modern example

A

Photography especially in the beauty industry. Photoshopping body parts, using filters, or even different poses/angles creates unrealistic ideas of how a healthy body should/can be, leading to harmful practices like EDs and overworking to achieve this imitation instead of working towards actually having a healthy body.
