Quarries are a problem for tourists because it spoils the landscape/environment, the noise/air pollution may put tourists off visiting the area and the increased traffic may cause a gridlock which will make it difficult to get around

The traffic from the quarry causes gridlock, the huge trucks could run over pedestrians (especially small children) and local house prices plummet.
