RATIO
Refers to the “CONSISTENCY” of a measurement tool.
RELIABILITY
Refers how well a test measures what it is intended to measure. A VALID TOOL GIVES ACCURATE RESULTS.
VALIDITY
Its about the test’ “appearance” rather than rigourous testing
FACE VALIDITY
Refers to whether a measurement covers “all relevant aspects” of the concept being measured.
CONTENT VALIDITY
Examines whether a test “ACCURATELY MEASURES” the theoretical concept it claims to measure.
CONSTRUCT
Assesses whether a measurement is CORRELATED WITH A RELEVANT EXTERNAL STANDARD OR OUTCOME
