Contextual- explaining what it exists and how It manifests
Explanatory- seeking to find explanations
Evaluative- how good something is not in terms of numbers
Generative- thinking of new strategies
what is inductive and deductive logic
Inductive logic- using observations to develop theories
Deductive logic- starts with a theory then looks to outside world to see if true
what type of sampling in qualitative research
non randomised, smaller group sizes as looking at specific people
what are the qualitative research methods
ask people: interview, focus group, questionnaires
observe people: ethnography (researcher embedded), non participant observation
what is triangulation
area under investigation looked at from different perspectives
