What steps did Great Britain take to increase control over its colonies? 2 points.

A

Great Britain started to have their tax movements which were the Townshend Act and Stamp Act. The British wanted the colonies to pay their taxes because the British were paying everything before, controlled trading, and taxes to pay for the French-Indian War.
