Cabin Altitude

A

1:Don the oxygen masks
2: establish crew communications
3: check the cabin altitude and rate
4: if the cabin altitude is uncontrollable

suprnmry (pass) OXY switch … push to on, hold for 1 second

main deck signaling switch (if installed) push

without delay descend to the lowest safe altitude or 14,000 feet, whichever is higher

to descend;
-thrust levers to idle
extend the speedbrakes
if structucal integrity is in doubt limit airspeed and avoid high manuevering loads
descen at vmo/mmo

A

1: autopilot disengage switch … push
2: A/T ARM switch — OFF
3 F/D Switches (both) —- OFF
4: set the following gear up pitch attitude and thrust
flaps extended 10 degrees/90% n1
flaps up 4 degrees/80% n1

A

thrust lever (affected engine) … confirm … retard until engine indications stay within limits or the thrust level is at idle

FIRE ENG 1,2,3,4 Engine severe damage or separation

A

thrust lever (affected engine) — confirm — idle
fuel control switch (affected engine) — confirm —CUTOFF
Engine fire switch (affected engine) — confirm — pull
if the fire eng message is shown
- engine fire switch …. rotate to te stop and hold for 1 second.

multiple engine flameout or stall

A

cont ignition switch (pw) —– push
fuel control switches (affected engines) —- confirm —- cutoff then run
if egt rises rapidly approaching EGT takeoff limit:
repeat the above step as needed.
