What do they do? Nacelle anti ice switches?
Off: anti ice valve commanded closed
AUTO: in flight anti icing operate when icing conditions exist. same as on
ON: anti icing valve opens when engine bleed air pressure is available
-engine igniters selected by the auto ignition selector and the EEC operate continuously
-engine bleed PRV opens when the nacelle anti icing valve is open unless the PRV is closed by;
prior or prsent bleed air overheat or start valve not closed or engine bleed HP valve failed open
What do they do? Wing Anti ice switch
Off: Anti ice valve commanded close
auto: in flight with leading edge flaps retracted the anti icing valves open when the icing detection system detects wing icing conditions
on the ground the valves are closed
on:
in flight the wing anti icing vlaves open to supply bleed air to the left and right wing leading edges
on the ground, the system is off and wing anti icing valves are closed
wing anti ice valve light (amber)
the position of either wing anti icing valve disagrees with the switch position
nacelle anti ice valve lights (amber)
the position of the nacelle anti icing valve disagrees with the switch position
window heat inop lights (amber)
the switch is off or overheat has occurred or system fault
how are the nacelle anti ice valves opened?
bleed air
when nacelle anti ice commanded on, what else happens?

how many windows are heated?
the forward windshield outside surfaces are heated by controlled high voltage power for anti icing
how many windows have anti fog?
all windows have anti fogging on the inner surfaces
are the pitot static probes and angle of attack probes heated?
4 pitot static and 2 angle of attack probes are electrically heated when any engine running.
Are the two TAT probes heated?
yes
