Propeller Ground Range advisory light Cycling
• Power Levers - Advance above flight Idle
- Roll Control Malfunction
(Airplane Rolls with no Control Wheel Input)
• Roll Control - Apply to hold wings level
*IF continuous illumination of SPLR 1 or SPLR 2 PUSH OFF* switchlights - In Wings Level Flight:
• Illuminated Switch Light - Push Off
or
*If SPLR 1 or SPLR 2 PUSH OFF switchlights do not illuminate - In Wings Level Flight:*
- Power - Apply
- Airspeed - Increase
- Unscheduled Propeller Feathering

Above 400ft AGL
Affected Engine:
- Engine Fail/Fire/Shutdown procedure
Indicated by:
- Engine Tq - 120%
- PRPM - ~500
Sudden Emergency
WHEN IMPACT IS IMMINENT
‘Attention Attention. Brace, Brace”
*As the aircraft is about to depart the runway*
OR
*Power is no longer required*
- Condition levers - Fuel Off
Aborted Engine Start
In the event of an IMMINENT OVERTEMPERATURE, HUNG START or FAILURE TO LIGHT off in 10 Sec:
- Condition Lever - Fuel Off
*IF ITT does not decrease immediately:*
- Pull fuel off Handle - Pull
- Ignition (Affected Engine) - Off
*Motor Engine for 15 Seconds:*
- Start Select - Off
1 ENG OIL PRESS
Oil Px Below 40 PSI
OR
OR
- Engine Fail/Fire/Shutdown Memory Items
Propeller Overspeed
ABOVE 400ft AGL:
- Synchrophase - Off
- Airspeed - Reduce towards minimum speed appropriate for flap config and flight conditions.
AFFECTED ENGINE:
- Power Lever - Flight Idle
- Condition Leaver - Start/Feather
- Alternate Fx - Feather
*If prop does not Feather*
DO NOT SHUTDOWN ENGINE!
- Alternate Feather - Norm
- CHECK THE ALTERNATE ADVISORY LIGHT IS OUT
- Condition Levers - Max
- Power Lever (affected engine) - Advance
- Do not exceed 1212 rpm
- Power Lever (Non affected engine): As req. to maintain desired flight profile.
*Land Immediately at the nearest suitable airport*
IF PROP FEATHERS:
- Engine Fail/Fire/Shutdown - Accomplish
“SMOKE”
and/or
FUSELAGE FIRE
OR
SMOKE/FUMES
- Oxygen Masks…………………….On/100%
- (Emergency as Required)
- Smoke Goggles (If Applicable)…….On
- Mic Switch………………………………….Mask
- Recirculation Fans…………………………Off
Land immediately at the nearest suitable suitable airport
Roll Control Jam
Memory Items:
- Autopilot…………………………………………Disengage
- Roll Disconnect Handle……….Pull and Turn 90°
Pitch Control Jam
Memory Items:
- Autopilot………………………………………..Disengage
- Flap & Airspeed……….Maintain at time of Jam
- Pitch Control………………..Attempt to overcome
If unable to overcome jam
- Relax control column force
- Pitch disconnect handle………Pull & Turn 90º
APU Fire
CONFIRM APU Automatic Shutdown (APU RUN advisory light out and APU bottle discharges)
*IF APU BTL or APU FIRE Lights remain Illuminated:*
- Extinguish Switch - Extinguish
Engine Fail/Fire/Shutdown
AFFECTED ENGINE:
- Power Lever……………………………..Flight Idle
- Condition lever…………………………….Fuel off
- Alternate Fx………………………………….Feather
- Pull Fuel Off Handle……………………………Pull
- Tank Aux Pump…………………………………….Off
*IF FIRE*
- Extg Switch……………………………..Fwd Bottle
*If Fire Persists, Wait Up To 30 Seconds*
- Extg Switch………………………………..Aft Bottle
Rapid Depressurisation / Emergency Descent
Memory Items:
- Oxygen Mask……………………….On/100%
- Mic Switch…………………………………..Mask
- Passenger Signs…………………………….On
EMERGENCY DESCENT, accomplish as req’d:
- Power Levers……………………..Flight Idle
- Condition Levers………………………….Max
- Airspeed………………………………………..Vmo
Roll Control Jam procedure
PF Calls:“Roll Jam”
- Autopilot - Disengage
PF Calls“Roll Disconnect”
- PM: Roll Disconnect Handle - Pull and Turn 90°
Both Pilots will now attempt to control the Aircraft.
- Pilot with free control will call “I Have Control”
- Pilot with jammed control will call “You have control”
Pitch Control Jam Procedure
PF Calls: “Pitch Jam Assist”
- Autopilot - Disengage
- Flap and Airspeed - Maintain at time of jam
- Pitch Control - Attempt to overcome Jam
Both pilots will try to overpower each control to dislodge jam. If unable to control - relax force
*If Unable to overcome Jam:*
PF Calls: “Pitch Disconnect”
- Relax Control Column Force
PM
- Pitch Disconnect Handle - Pull and Turn 90°
Both pilots will now attempt to control the aircraft.
- Pilot with free control will call “I have control”
- Pilot with jammed control will respond “You have control”
