- The family that I work for. Both the parents and children are wonderful.
- I am thankful for the time that I have spent with them.
- I really love helping others, and it has been such a joy to watch the two children grow.
What are the most important qualities for a pharmacy technician?
- Attention to detail.
- It is important to be detail oriented in this field because the smallest oversight can have the most costly consequence.

- As healthcare professionals, it is our goal to give quality service.
- From a business standpoint, a happy customer is essential to a successful business.
How would you handle a difficult customer?
- It is imperative to remain calm, and remember to not take it personally.
- I would make sure that the customer feels heard by listening to his or her complaint.
- I would apologize for the problem that arose.
- And, I would try my best to satisfy the customer.
How do you manage stress?
- I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
- I also try to reduce stress by prioritizing tasks and remaining organized.
- When I do feel stressed, I try to think about the situation and how I can improve it.

- I like having deadlines because it helps me:
- Remain organized.
- Be more efficient.
What is your greatest strength?
- I believe that my greatest strength is that I am a hard worker.
- I am determined, self motivated, and I have a strong work ethic.
Why did you choose pharmacy technician for a career?
- Passion for helping others and tremendous admiration for those that work in the medical field.
- After researching different careers, I realized that it was a good career choice for me.
- I like that it is a field that is constantly growing and evolving.
- I like that I can grow and evolve within the field.
What is your greatest weakness?
- I don’t have previous experience going in to this field.
- However, I am open minded and a quick learner.
- And, working for your company will give me the opportunity to learn the job the way you want it to be done.
What did your last co-workers say about you?
•My supervisor and co-workers often complimented me on how productive and hard working I was.
Tell me about a challenge you have had when working on a team. How did it get resolved?
- A challenge that I have had when working on a team would be lack of communication.
- It is important to have constant, open communication when working on a team because it alleviates problems, like:
- Managing tasks
- Meeting deadlines
- And, any conflict that might arise.
Tell me about a time you worked as a group to accomplish a goal. How do you know you were successful?
- When I worked for the Springfield Public School District, I worked with the lead teacher, specialist, and other instructional assistants to meet the individual educational plans for the students.
- We set up a system to work daily on meeting those goals, and we maintained open communication so that we could address any information needed to adjust our plan.
- We were successful because we provided the children with the proper tools to continue to improve, and we saw vast improvement in their abilities.
Describe your greatest achievement.
- My most recent accomplishment would be over-coming a fear.
- Last year, I decided to surprise my boyfriend by taking him zip-lining.
- I was apprehensive about it because I am afraid of heights, but it sounded adventurous.
- As I watched each person before me go, my anxiety began to build.
- By the time it was my turn, I felt panicked. I was so scared that I wanted to turn around and go back.
- But, another part of me wanted to overcome my fear. I didn’t want to be held back because of it.
- I was completely unnerved, but I was proud that I decided to continue on.
- Now I know that even when I am scared, I can work through uncertainty and come out stronger.
