Aspiration Inflammatory : ARDS Trauma Infusion associated circulatory overload Heard failure Neurogenic shock e.g. head injury

Presentation of pulmonary oedema?
A
SOB +/- orthopnoea +/- paroxysmal nocturnal days-Nora.
Signs: Bi basal creps and wheeze, raised JVP

A
ABCDE
Sit up right
High flow oxygen
Management = LMNOP
L = loop diuretic (IV furosemide ) M = morphine (relieves distress) N = nitrates O = oxygen P = posture - SIT UP
