A
Pulmonary oedema involves the accumulation of fluid in the parenchyma and air spaces of the lungs, most commonly as a result of heart failure and/or fluid overload.

Shortness of breath
Pink frothy sputum

Typical clinical signs of pulmonary oedema include:
Tachypnoea
Decreased oxygen saturations
Raised jugular venous pressure (JVP)

Management?
A
-monitor
-once stable: repeat CXR, oral furosemide or bumetanide.
-If on large loop doses add thiazide
-weight reduction
