unscientific : non-experimental methods, qualitative data, subjective measures, non-standardised procedures and lack of control of variables
scientific: cause & effect, falsification, replicability, objectivity, hypothesis testing, manipulation of variables, control of variables, standardisation and quantifiable measurements
