Hans Eysenck- what is his theory of why people commit crime?
Certain personality types are more likely to commit crime because they crave excitement but are to slow to learn that crime has bad consequences.
Hans Eysenck- what proof did he find to correlate with his theory?
He gave questionnaires to 700 soldiers who where being treated with neurotic disorders at the hospital where he worked, which he found a number of different personality traits that where revealed.
Hans Eysenck- what are the two dimensions of personality?
Extraversion/introversion- the amount of stimulation a person needs, the person is sociable but can be bored very quickly if thier is a lack of stimulation.
Neuroticism/stability- the level of emotional stability of a person, the person is very anxious and often irrational.
