everyone must have a voice
identify the ones that monopolise the conversation
build an environment in which people can discuss their ideas with passion - create positive conflict
Team rules in meetings
- only accept constructive critics
- put your EGO to service of the common good
- watch your voice tone and nonverbal language
- listen first; discuss your ideas afterwards: you must be influenced if you want to influence
- everyone must have the same airtime
- do not allow toxic comments or sarcasm
- you may need to apart some people from the conversation until they are ready
